Hearing a Truth

I just got a call from mr. macho.

"Well the Assessment was done on me today. I am now a "frail elderly Veteran".

I missed my cue.
I was supposed to say something like: "Only in words."
or even better: "no of course you are not!"

I said: "So go with it."

Dead silence.

Oh well.
Truths can be hard to hear
